I can’t believe it’s finally happening…. I have dreamnt of this for a very long time.  I first envisioned an actual shop called a “women’s place”, that would have a boutique feeling with wonderful home accents, my art on the walls, candles burning, feeling cozy and a space where we could come together enjoy creativity and also have a place for free classes that would help those that walked through the doors.   The desire for this dream started about 12 yrs ago when I was going through an incredibly difficult time of my life, I had limited resources and needed instruction on taxes and managing a budget along with a few other things and I couldn’t find help in my area.  I made my way through this difficult time and found ways to grow without a huge bank account.  What I found in the process were a lot of other women who needed help in a certain area but are gifted in another and if somehow, some way I could get everyone connected what a crazy empowered group of women that would be! The cost of having a brick and mortar building was too great, especially with the way the economy has been… so … hence the blog idea grew…   It was a slow start… and life has happened and there have been a few detours…. but….. this is the beginning of the journey…. My hope is that I can encourage people with my art….and I can bring women together, so that we all can be the best that we can be…… this is also for me…. to prove to myself that I could do it…(setting up a blog all by myself was definitely a challenge but you can learn how to do anything on you tube! ha!)… every move toward the goal (however small) in the last few years has energized me to keep going…… ready, set, go!
