I think at 47, I should be like all the successful women I read about who realize the at this age they are completely ok with who they are…. I guess most days I am… but geez.. I don’t have it all together all of the time.(most of the time)… but as Pink puts it so well ” I’m learning to be brave in my beautiful mistakes” I’m much better being imperfect than trying to perfect. I tried to look like I was for a long time and I still fight those tendencies every day. I’m pretty comfortable in my own skin and the constant challenge for me is to be ok with my faults… and quirks as well as what I do well….. God thank you for my strengths AND my faults help me to see what I need to see and what I need to work harder at.

I’ve been teaching and creating for well over 25 years. About 15 years ago I found my art soul mate in mixed media, and it changed my life! I love the story that can be told by combining paint, texture, ink, paper and—really anything that you can imagine.
