Dear self, you are right where you are supposed to be… although you might feel tired, uninspired, doubtful, hurting, scared… this is right where you NEED to be. You need to look around at your circumstance and see what you can learn. No situation, decision or feeling is permanent, it’s a lesson. A lesson for greatness… to find out who you are and what your made of. This is not a time for regret… this is a time to be thankful for the wisdom to come… for the strength that you will acquire… oh.. dear soul… you are about to become better….greater… stronger … wiser…. sooo stay in this moment… pull it in close… feel the emotion…remember the feelings… the songs that brought you to tears.. because it will take you to your destination…. to the prize… the prize of a beautiful you! Hang on… because you will shine brighter than you ever have before….

I’ve been teaching and creating for well over 30 years. About 15 years ago I found my art soul mate in mixed media, and it changed my life! I love the story that can be told by combining paint, texture, ink, paper and—really anything that you can imagine.

But what I’m truly passionate about is being your guide, walking with you step by step and helping you become your own hero in your creative journey.

Along my path, I’ve learned that the creating art also creates a healing space. Life can be messy and complicated and painful, but something about a paint brush can help heal your soul.
