We are all a little broken

We need to be good to each other, everyone has a story and a struggle that they are dealing with. We need to remember that we are more alike than we are different.

I want to interact with people from a place of love, leaving kindness in my tracks. It’s hard to be in that place when someone is unkind or judgmental, but I’m learning that if I take just a minute to see their hurt and their struggle I can choose to love instead of choosing anger.

This week, is there someone that you need to take some time to see their struggle?

My hope is that your week starts with a whole lotta love and kindness!

I’ve been teaching and creating for well over 30 years. About 15 years ago I found my art soul mate in mixed media, and it changed my life! I love the story that can be told by combining paint, texture, ink, paper and—really anything that you can imagine.

But what I’m truly passionate about is being your guide, walking with you step by step and helping you become your own hero in your creative journey.

Along my path, I’ve learned that the creating art also creates a healing space. Life can be messy and complicated and painful, but something about a paint brush can help heal your soul.
