August Break and a little Joy Up

So the start of August was a tad bit crazy…. I had the opening of It’s Vintage Charm, where my stuff is being sold, Deadlines for publications, Crazy sale Thursday, Orders to get out…. And then my web host goes down…!  and a glitch with Facebook!…

Yesterday as I was trying to print shipping labels and the printer went on the fritz…. I could feel the tears welling up…..  and by now, I’m full on talking to myself in my studio…. saying don’t you cry… don’t you cry…..  but what I really should have done is just gone and done it…. sit down on the floor and just have a good cry, let the stress go, and then move on.  I didn’t, I just gave up, (sigh)..then I moved on to the next thing on my list.

So my plan for August is to de stress a bit, breathe, have a good cry, whatever it might be to just relax.  Part of that journey for August is taking part in the Joy Up project with Hannah Marcotti, a beautiful walk through finding more joy, and the August break project with Susannah Conway, where we blog less and take more pictures.  So You will see my journey of joy and pics over the next few weeks.

Joy Up …. start each day with lemon water….. (with a little diet coke on the side)

My hope for you today, is that if you’re having one of those days, weeks or months, where everything you do is just hard…. take a breath, have a good cry, ask for help and take care of you…. It will get better!
