Soo… I decided to use one of my Harvest pieces in a redo of last years fall wreath…. take a look!

This is the old wreath…. a little mangled from being in the garage.

I bought some fall stems (leaves and sunflowers) and some burlap garland.

Made up a print on wood of Harvest.

Made the bow out of the Burlap garland, hot glued and wired the cut pieces of the fall stems, wired the harvest print on wood to the wreath through the hanger on the back of the piece… a little more hot glue and Voila! a brand new wreath for the front door….

I will show you the other fall decorations for the rest of the front porch … soon!

I’ve been teaching and creating for well over 30 years. About 15 years ago I found my art soul mate in mixed media, and it changed my life! I love the story that can be told by combining paint, texture, ink, paper and—really anything that you can imagine.

But what I’m truly passionate about is being your guide, walking with you step by step and helping you become your own hero in your creative journey.

Along my path, I’ve learned that the creating art also creates a healing space. Life can be messy and complicated and painful, but something about a paint brush can help heal your soul.
