What if… Today was the day… you started. You started loving yourself.

What if you started being bold… telling the truth…. living the dream that lies inside of you….. What if….??

Some days I feel like I have lived a thousand lives…. but no.. it’s just this one… but in this one life… I have walked paths of doubt, fear, guilt and shame. I have been broken, abused and left behind. I say this to let you know that I paint with a mission…. a passion. For women who are not quit sure on their feet after trauma, transition, and heartbreak. I know what it feels like to feel alone and I am the supreme cheerleader of women who are hurting. I made the video above to inspire, encourage and challenge you to walk with me as we become stronger, braver, wiser and compassionate. I STILL struggle with my own past, fears and doubt… every day, month, year and decade, I get stronger and more resilient. I am one who has been through the fire, and still says that life can be brilliant, bright and filled with passion if you choose it.

So … What if Today…. you decided… to Live with Passion…???. Will you join me on this crazy, beeeaaautiful journey called life?

Hello there! I’m Shawn Petite

I’ve been teaching and creating for well over 30 years. About 15 years ago I found my art soul mate in mixed media, and it changed my life! I love the story that can be told by combining paint, texture, ink, paper and—really anything that you can imagine.

But what I’m truly passionate about is being your guide, walking with you step by step and helping you become your own hero in your creative journey.

Along my path, I’ve learned that the creating art also creates a healing space. Life can be messy and complicated and painful, but something about a paint brush can help heal your soul.
