I know today is Thursday and normally we do pay what you can but I’m getting ready to go see my granddaughter.. yipee! So I won’t have time to get orders ready but we will be back on schedule next week.

Also July workshop at Craft Fusion…. It is filling up fast! I have had lots of questions about it…… you can get details and signup at Craft Fusion. This class is going to be really unique because I will be teaching the basics of a particular piece but you will be able to choose any colors, background, textured or smooth and whatever word you want. It will be a really fun class, with alot of one of a kind pieces… can’t wait! All supplies are included all you need to do is bring a heat tool, and some creativity. If the class is full put your name on a wait list, because I will do a repeat if there are enough people. I have an example of the same piece but different colors below.

I just sent this out for a Gallery show in LA…. pretty darn excited about it… Some big names at the show….The theme is about love, dating, transition, heart break… right up my ally…..it is 24×36. I feel blessed to be a part!

Lastly, I just want to leave you with this as you go into the weekend………

Our brokenness brings us together, every story is different, our backgrounds, our size and shape, single, married, divorced. We all are so different and yet so, so much the same. Our brokenness is our badge of honor, that we have fought a good fight and are still standing to talk about it. It gives us a tender spot for someone who is going through the same things, it takes off the hard edges of life and replaces it with grace. Say a quick thank you for your struggles and bruises because they are sign posts of a beautiful life worth fighting for!

I’ve been teaching and creating for well over 30 years. About 15 years ago I found my art soul mate in mixed media, and it changed my life! I love the story that can be told by combining paint, texture, ink, paper and—really anything that you can imagine.

But what I’m truly passionate about is being your guide, walking with you step by step and helping you become your own hero in your creative journey.

Along my path, I’ve learned that the creating art also creates a healing space. Life can be messy and complicated and painful, but something about a paint brush can help heal your soul.
