It has been a busy week, I just finished one of the busiest shows and am getting ready for the next one on Saturday. One of the most asked questions at any of my shows, or through emails is, “Where does your inspiration come from?”
This weekend I gave some general answers, or quick responses about my inspiration, I didn’t go into detail because the stories are deep, are emotional and some private. So I thought I would share some of the journey of my inspiration.
My inspirations comes from people, from sorrow and joy. It comes from the lives that surround me. The stories of souls living life the best way they can. It comes from authentically searching to be better and vulnerable. The colors represent feeling…. the red of passion, the blue for peace, the browns for calm, the purples of yearning, the greens of growth….

From a friend that felt unsure about what she has to offer the world, her family, her mate.
From a friend that found herself in a midlife transition. Bare, raw and scared,
From a women questioning her talents… fearing rejection
From broken relationships, broken hearts, that will never be the same, healed but never the same.
From friends who carried me through some of the most difficult times of my life and celebrate the joys.
From God, my maker, my savior.

So you see the question of where my inspiration comes from isn’t that easy, but one things for sure. You my friends inspire me everyday! Thank you for sharing your stories, your life, your love.
