Artist Gang Tuesday is sweet!
This last week I got a message from Frea she has a blog called “Messy Mixed Media projects by Frea”. She watched my Sunday Inspiration video 5-25-15 “Every flower grows through dirt” and let me know that she created her own amazing work of art inspired from the video…. I love when you share your work, plus I get to show you off! Stop by Frea’s blog and check out this and all her other work!
I shared in the Sunday Inspiration video that Mothers and Fathers Day is always weird for me. I don’t have parents to celebrate or Grandparents…. I celebrate my husband on fathers day, but …. not quite the same as remembering family…. I lost my mom when I was 15 to cancer and lived on my own until I was married. I found my father when I was 36 but we still don’t have a relationship. I know that my story is probably not different from alot of you, but I do want to say… that although there might be family problems, or no parents or whatever your circumstance…. there is always something and someone to be grateful for. Think back to someone who helped you on your journey or is still part of your journey. Celebrate that! celebrate them! I had a few people come into my world for just a moment to encourage me, and then, I have had those who have stayed to be part of my journey forever…. both I am so grateful for! Both were and are important to my growth! No one does it alone…..
I am so grateful for you, thank you for sharing the journey with me….
Be grateful, be inspired and know that you are loved!
I love watching your inspiration videos…you make it look so easy! I love this one today…I find masculine pieces difficult…always like to add something girly on my vintage/shabby chic work.
I also am parentless for far too many years (18 & 14) now, and never had grandparents so I know how weird it is when Mothers & Fathers Days come around. I still want to call home and ask them questions!
Have a glorious week!
Thanks for the inspiration!
Carol, I agree … creating manly pieces is difficult! I am finding that there are alot of parentless peeps… we are all so more alike than different. That’s why we need each other on the journey! Hugs and love!
