This past week was particular hard… not because of anything to do with me. But in the lives of those around me…. even those in my inner circle.
My heart hurts…. a close friends child diagnosed with MS, another friends teen suicide, another friend diagnosed with a rare disease, another family friends child drug overdose.
What do I say….. what do I do…. nothing seems right to say… nothing seem enough. … visits, letters, texts…. emails…
Nothing feels ok…… all I know to do is NOT give answers, or try to explain, or advise on how to heal. But walk with my people…. to be available….to donate to the cause…. to love in the dark places….to pray…. to share the journey.
Maybe you are walking the journey with someone, or you know of someone who needs to know they are not alone or maybe YOU need to know you are not alone.
This is my little way of saying ….. I will walk with you…. download this, give it, send it, keep it. It’s up to you. But always know that you are not alone…. tell me your story I will listen.
You are loved!

Hi, it was hard to watch this weeks video as it’s evident to see you are hurting for your friends. Thinking of you, sending you strength and hugs for you and your friends and reminding you that you are loved too.
Julie, thank you! I am so honored to have so many beautiful souls like you around me! It’s always hard when those you love are hurting and we can’t fix it. So many good vibes, hugs, prayers swirling around. We truly need each other. Thank you for sharing in my journey.
Hugs!
Absolutely beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing your heart with us. I’m a pianist and about 20 years ago when my brother (age 38) had a stroke and almost died, I went to the piano and just played for hours…it seemed to be the only thing to give me peace. Art, in whatever fashion, is a wonderful emotional release.
I cannot begin to tell you how much this video touched my heart. Thank you!
Carol, thank you for the kind words…. art in any form is definitely therapy! Thank you for watching and sharing the journey with me.
Hugs
Shawn
