Quiet Courage… it’s what the greats are made of… and what so many of the people that I admire do every day. Courage is sometimes loud and it has to be loud to make things happen, but most often courage is quiet. It’s the stay up all night, wake up early, do the extra workout, do a little more research, spend more hours on the plan kinda thing. It happens when no one is watching, it happens daily as those who are thought to be ordinary dare to be great. It happens in the dark and the night when others are sleeping, it happens in our prayers and at the tip of our pens. Quite strength challenges the barriers and requires much from out hearts. But quite strength brings so much to our lives, to the lives of those we love. Quiet strength changes history. So if you think you are not courageous or brave, take another look at your determination. If you are standing fast and continuing your journey is the face of trial….making the extra effort, caring for those who can’t care for themselves….
Oh my love,
how courageous you are. Keep going…. most will not notice your courage, but those that matter will…. eventually.

Gorgeous art!!! yes.. courage is necessary… and right now.. it needs to be louder than ever. I for one will not stop holding this administration accountable. I will fight for love, for basic human rights, decency and non discrimination.

Oh Shawn … I could NOT love your art more if I tried! Thank you so much for your continued inspiration and willingness to share your amazing talent and gentle heart! Tell me this …. are you going to be doing any kind of in-person workshops this year? Ohio isn’t THAT far from Missouri … would love to participate in one … or 12 … LOL …
Thank you Sue! I don’t have any live workshops scheduled… trying to find a venue or shop to teach at here has been difficult but when I do I will let everyone know. Hugs
