Grace is needed every day

I know I have given the definition of Grace before, but I always go back to it again and again.

Grace: is a reprieve from our sentance, kindness, forgiveness and charity.

I don’t know about you, but I certainly need that everyday. As an imperfect human, I am grateful for Grace. I also know that as much as I need it, I also need to give it. Everyday.

Happy Easter if you celebrate it. I hope that your day is filled with love, hope and Grace today.

Supplies Used: 8×8 mdf board, Deco Art Matte Medium, Collage pak 4-16-17, Deco Art Media fluid acrylics ( titanium white, titan buff, green gold) Deco Art Media antiquing cream in raw umber, Americana acrylic paint, (celery green, coral blush), Ranger Archival stamp pad, makeup sponge, My stencil (background words), Charcoal pencil, Krylon spray fixative, Deco art Ultra matte varnish to seal.

I’ve been teaching and creating for well over 30 years. About 15 years ago I found my art soul mate in mixed media, and it changed my life! I love the story that can be told by combining paint, texture, ink, paper and—really anything that you can imagine.

But what I’m truly passionate about is being your guide, walking with you step by step and helping you become your own hero in your creative journey.

Along my path, I’ve learned that the creating art also creates a healing space. Life can be messy and complicated and painful, but something about a paint brush can help heal your soul.
