There have been so many days that I have been all three of these. It’s just life.

I don’t remain broken, but life’s just hard sometimes, and things don’t go as planned. Feelings get hurt, relationships end, jobs get lost and our hearts break little by little or sometimes is one fail swoop.

I often think that too many people are walking around feeling broken, never realizing how brave and strong they are to keep going.

How brave and strong they are for working on healing or forgiveness.

How brave and strong they are to start over.

As we all work on our healing, suddenly we realize that the pieces have come back together and we’re just brave and strong. And broken is just a memory.

My love, I believe in your strength, I believe in your bravery, …. I know you can work through this. Whatever your story is, it’s ok to be brave, strong and broken. It’s life, but be willing to do the work, to not stay in a broken place. (that’s the brave and strong part)

Along my path, I’ve learned that the creating art also creates a healing space. Life can be messy and complicated and painful, but something about a paint brush can help heal your soul.
