There’s an art to listening, to quiet the mind, to hear the whispers, to hear the calling, to hear the lessons.
I know that I busy myself when I don’t want to listen, when I know there’s work to be done. I try every week to stop and breathe and listen. To hold myself accountable to the work of my soul. To take a look at hard things, like forgiveness for myself and others and risky love and even more risky vulnerability and being open.
What do you need to ask yourself, can you hear the whispers? Where do you need to do the work or where do you need to rest? My friend it is always good to examine ourselves so that we have more to give, more love, more creativity, more compassion.
