Help me welcome the Creative Team for 2017/2018

I’m so excited to introduce the first Shawn Petite Creative team.

This group of ladies are talented in so many ways and have beautiful hearts and I’m thrilled to walk this new journey with each of them this next year. They each have a special gift and a wide variety of styles and I can’t wait to see what they create!

I also want to thank all of you who submitted. The choice was difficult, a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. So much talent!

The first creative team post will be September 6th and every Wednesday after that.. so you will have even more inspiration through out the week.

Hello there! I’m Shawn Petite

I’ve been teaching and creating for well over 25 years. About 15 years ago I found my art soul mate in mixed media, and it changed my life! I love the story that can be told by combining paint, texture, ink, paper and—really anything that you can imagine.

But what I’m truly passionate about is being your guide, walking with you step by step and helping you become your own hero in your creative journey.

Along my path, I’ve learned that the creating art also creates a healing space. Life can be messy and complicated and painful, but something about a paint brush can help heal your soul. I believe—no, I know—you are worthy of love, and I want to teach you to know that about yourself. Join me on this journey of art and inspiration!

    Congratulations to each and every one of you!! Looks to me like Shawn has assembled the “cream” of the mixed media world into one amazing team!!! I’m so excited to see what will be forthcoming from all of you!!! Having come to “know” Shawn through her beautiful art, heart and eyes, has been an on-going inspiration in my life on so many levels!! All of you have been truly blessed to be on “Team Shawn”!!! Thank you (in advance) for all of the hard work and inspiring pieces of art that will be coming forward to all of us!!
