This journal page grew on me, I wasn’t sure about this but I did find some new loves!

This page actually grew on me. I wasn’t sure and then once I got some of the Marabu crayons on I was starting to like it.

It’s still really busy and doesn’t make me feel all warm and fuzzy, but the lessons I learned and the experimenting I got to do will be used again!

I love the black modeling paste and want to play some more with it. I also will be heading to the store to get some more Marabu crayons they are wonderful to use and oh so creamy. They worked well on all that texture. Cant wait to try them in a few more applications.

The texture that the modeling paste left, as well as the gesso DOES make me happy and I love how I can see the papers through the stencil design.

Always be willing to step out of your comfort zone… it’s all trial and error and some amazing discoveries!

  1. What an interesting/intriguing bit of creativity Shawn. When I first saw it… I wasn’t sure… but wow – now that I see it here – it’s sooo neat. It has such great dimension and layers of color. Your trial and error is really great FUN!!! Xj.
