Birthday week begins and choosing love Sunday inspiration

There is so much happening in the world. So much division.

My prayer most days is that we would love more. That we would live with compassion and understanding.

That we would choose love over hate, courage over fear and joy over despair.

I know that my thoughts are simple and that what’s happening in our nation is more complicated than that, however if we could heal our bitterness, our insecurities and our loneliness things would change. If we worked on our own souls, learn to forgive ourselves and others and wrap that with love… we could have a little more peace.

I just keep saying over and over.

Love over hate

courage over fear

joy over despair
