I’m so glad to be back! I am so grateful for the time away and the chance to process, reflect, relax, journey through some transformational things, read and dare to be true.
Our journey is our story, our life and how we choose to approach the journey makes all the difference.
As humans our brains are set up to search for answers, to search for truth and in the absence of information we will make up a story or listen to old stories as if they were truth. When we get so busy that we don’t take a moment to breathe or reflect that’s when the lies happen.
That’s why it’s so important to get quiet, take the journey and tell yourself the real truth, the good, the stuff that needs to change and how amazing your really are. When we dare to be real, with ourselves and others… transformation happens, in our lives and the lives of others. Dare to be true today…. tell the truth with love and grace. Oh yea, that’s the good stuff!

While on my mini vacay….One of the things that really spoke to me as I read Donald Millers book… Million miles in a Thousand years, is the concept of wanting to create a better story for your life.
You see, I, you, we all get to write the pages of our lives. I get to write the story…. my beautiful story, me and my creator, we get to fill in the pages,… How exciting.!!…
Now, my story isn’t bad right now, in fact it’s pretty dang awesome, I just want to say yes to more. More adventure (which is hard for me) Yes to more passion and travel, yes to deeper relationships…. Just more Yes’s than No’s.
I’m working hard on dealing with my control issue and anxiety so that I can get out of my comfort zone. Not way out at first…. baby steps… just like when you’re creating or learning something new…. you start small..
But I knew I had to say it out loud, write it down and have you as my witness. So that I hold myself accountable.
So this section will become will pop in often… so that I can share my story, share the adventure, share me stepping out …. and maybe even inspire you to write the story that you’ve wanted. If you don’t like how your story is going…. rewrite it… if you’d like to say yes more and no less… then let’s share that and encourage each other on the journey!
I go back to some of these books over and over
Slowing down to notice just how amazing our world is.
