At the moment I like to play with things that I have on hand like the advertisement brochure from one of our local museum which I use in the project as my art journal. The brochure have with 21 x 21 cm² a perfect size to take it with me in my travelers notebook.
In my project I show you two of my favorite techniques to create a neutral background: First technique is to use stamps & stencils and tissue to make my own collage papers. The Second technique I want to show you is using you watercolor media e.g, Neocolor II crayons I’m using to your background a grey shaded look. In front of the neutral background your colored focal point will really pop out off the page.
