There is nothing better than being able to be yourself with someone… and even better when they still love you in spite of yourself. hehe!

This piece feels very feminine, which is perfect because is came from my heart and love for those who know me and love me.

Supplies Used:

8×10 mdf board, Matte medium, book covers and ledger papers collage pak, Medium body and fluid acrylics, flower spray stencil, charcoal pencil, letter stamps, misc. items for additional texture (bubble wrap etc)

My bff from Phoenix came into town and we spent a laughter filled week together. We have committed to seeing each other every 6 months and not letting the miles come between us keep us.

There is no greater freedom than to be able to be yourself 100% with someone. It is rare to find that person that “gets” you… that can finish your sentences or sing the song of your heart back to you when you have forgotten the words.

To find someone who knows the dirt, the skeletons in the closet and has seen the worst of you and still loves you and values you is a gift and true blessing.

Keeping that relationship growing and healthy take works and is worth the investment. Any relationship requires time and nurturing, but if we seek out those who are moving in the same direction as we are and then plant the seeds to help it grow, it will bloom.

I pray that you have that in your life, or that you are trying to figure out who that might be and take the risk to reach out.
