It can seem that we are in winter alot through out our lives, but there are always signs that things will be ok, and that spring will come soon. Look for what you have to be grateful for in the middle of whatever season you are in, in your life and you will see the signs of comfort and beauty.

Absolutely beautiful and so personal for me. Cardinals and Christmas have a special place in my heart. We live in the Midwest and cardinals are plentiful during the winter season. When my (now adult) children were small, I helped them write their gratitude, wishes and hopes letters to the North Pole. We would place both of them them in an envelope and tape it to the back door. I told them we then had to wait for a cardinal to see it, pluck it from the door and soar to the North Pole to deliver their letter. They were always so joyfully enchanted when we opened the door and saw the cardinal had been to THEIR door to take their letters to Santa Claus. Thank you for your inspiration. With gratitude, j.
