“Nothing can dim the light that shines from within”  This quote brings me hope, Hope that even in the hard days, when we recognize our own light, we know that we can persevere, that we can make it another day.

I love the technique of kind of a printing of the background. It gives it a really natural and grungy feel.

Supplies Used:

Canson mixed media journal, LOTS of scraps from the stash, parchment paper, various acrylics (craft, fluid and medium body), charcoal pencil, 1/2″ letter stamps, matte medium

Stencils used: Mandala, flower gang 5, greek motif
