“No matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine”
The layers on this piece makes my heart happy! The vintage papers peek through perfectly and create such depth. Using negative shape painting or reductive paint, I shape the fun flowers and sun to make this happy and whimsical.
I love this quote and it is so true! So often in just a single day, we can come against circumstances and people that want to steal our joy over and over again. Sometimes we just have to make a choice to bring our own sunshine, let go of the negative and choose to find the good.
Somedays I’m good at this and some days, not so much but I keep trying! I hope today you can find your sunshine in spite of the dark clouds that surround you.
