I drew my inspiration from some cotton stems that I have on my mantle that always feels so peaceful. Need a little peace this week I knew that I wanted to paint these stems.
Then getting little messages throughout the day for the message of this piece it all came together. I am always amazed at how the inspiration and the message come when I least expect it.
I share in today’s video my process including how to easily create a hand-painted font and what practice means in art and in finding the blessings in our everyday lives.
12×12 mdf board, vintage papers, Deco art matte medium, gesso and fluid acrylics, (prussion blue hue, carbon black, burnt umber) Americana glazing medium, palette knife, Sennelier soft pastels in white, Spectra fix to set the chalk pastels, black soft pastel
