I love using gesso and modeling paste together to get a beautiful texture and then include vintage papers and I’m smiling! I share in today’s video how I create contrast and why I use a mixture of modeling paste and gesso.
I also talk about how we are hardest on ourselves and that we would never say to another person what we say to our souls. It’s our imperfections that make us beautiful and unique and In today’s society with constant business and perfect social media sites, it feels like we are never enough.
So today be gentle with yourself, take a break, forget the dishes and feed your soul. Embrace your imperfections and give yourself a hug. You are beautiful just as you are!

Have a great week, Be inspired, create and know that you are loved!
I think this is my new favorite ! I love the detail, texture, color and everything else about this. I have a question… I’ve been finding leaves and flowers then putting them in my homemade flower press. Have you ever used pressed items? This reminded me so much of a few flowers I have and wondered if they would work on a piece like this. Any suggestions ? Again , thank you so much for all the inspiration you give me. Art has become my comfort zone and such a big part of my life, it just makes me so happy. Hugs !
I was looking in your supply list but I can’t find what those little letter stamps are that you used to put “Be gentle with yourself” was. Can you let me know what brand they are or something similar to that same size?
Not sure what the brand is I got them years ago from Michaels I believe they are about 1/2′ big
