I wanted to share today the Valentines day pieces I made for my grandaughters. These were super simple to make and yet still had lots of texture and interest.
I love using gesso for a quick grungy background and when you combine it with High flow acrylics all the texture shows up so beautifully!
It was a crazy week and I was sick, so these were perfect to help me get a little happy in the day!
Also one of these is available in the subscriber resource library for you to print. If your not a subscriber to my email you can do that HERE
Supplies Used: 6×9 mdf board, vintage paper, Deco Art Matte medium, Deco Art Gesso, Golden High flow Acrylic (green gold, quin violet, nickel azo gold, quin magenta, cerulean blue) Liquitex basics in carbon black, General’s charcoal pencil, Soho black chalk pastel, Sharpie water based paint marker in white
Stencils Used: Scribble marks 1 & 2, stars and heart, little flower
This is the piece that will be free in the resource library for you to download. You can subscribe HERE

Dear Shawn,
Such happy pieces filled with love. How lucky your granddaughters are to have you in their lives.
Please feel better soon and take care.
Love & hugs
Clari
This is wonderful and gives me so many ideas for my grandbabies ! Thank you thank you !
This is so beautiful! I just love how it all came together! I love your stencils – can I ask what machine you use? I am trying to decide on a Silhouette or a Cricut and one of the things I want to do is stencils (and possibly chipboards).
Thank you so much for sharing so much of you with us!
