This piece was perfect for the week that I was having. It evokes exactly how I was feeling. The layers of grungy goodness the peaceful colors, the representation of earth and nature… are just healing for my soul.
The loss of my father in law this last week got me thinking about the legacy that I’ll be leaving behind. I really began to ask myself some hard questions and I think that any time we experience loss, change or difficult times that we always do a self-check, or at least I do.
As I wrote in my journal this week, 3 things kept coming back to me as to who I want to be in the world, who I want to be in my kid’s life, in my partner’s life, in my relationships.
1.Showing and giving love
2.having grace with myself and others
3.Be willing to forgive.
All the achievements, work and adventures of life are really nothing if they are not somehow wrapped with those 3 things, they really are just empty efforts. I share more about this in the video.
How do you want to show up in the world? What legacy do you want to leave behind?
We only get on beautiful, hard, adventurous life, how do you want to live it?

Have you ever stared at a blank page or canvas wondering what the heck should I do?
Or have wasted time searching for inspiration?
Oh, my, gosh! I know I have! There’s nothing worse than when you want to get creative, but you feel like you’ve got nothin! No ideas, no goal, no inspiration.
Well, I’m gonna help you get past that!
I’m so excited about this workshop because I share for the first time how I get out of my creative ruts.
I have developed a practice that works for me every. single. time. That sparks my imagination, gets my fingers in the paint and gets me in the flow!
In this workshop, we dive into my secret sauce for getting the mojo flowing, and how to create quickly by thinking only about the next step….to get the most out of your time.
I will guide you, in gathering all our elements together, preparing our journals with speed, creating grungy gelli prints and building amazing texture, all in an unconventional way, that I know will light the fire in your soul!
We’ll pull it all together to create 6 beautiful abstract projects in our journals and on canvas. Even going big on a 16 x20!
****Then to make this even better I’m throwing in two bonus lessons. 1. Creating your own journal and 2. 10 ways you can use tissue paper in your mixed media mini workshop that is jam-packed with the best ideas for tissue! I’ve never offered such a huge bonus before!

Thank you!
Dear Shawn,
This piece is exceptional, it’s ethereal, earthy, filled with a raw beauty, spirit led… It just took/takes my breath away, truly. Oh trees, they are my soul mates, the stories they tell, they fill my heart. Tied up with your loss and the sadness you shared it made me cry. I could write all day here… but for now just thank you!
Thank you for sharing this despite this painful time for you.
You’re in my prayers especially at this difficult time.
Oh and one last thing… and I can’t get it out of my head where you are concerned. Your book, when is your book going to be available? Yes, I know that you haven’t written one yet but I’m hoping that it’s coming this year. Another addition to your wonderful legacy.
My love & 🤗 hugs 🧡🌻
Clari,
You are such sweet music to my soul! Thank you! And It’s unbelievable that you speak of a book because I just wrote TODAY that I want to write a book called Everyday inspiration based from My Sunday Inspirations. What confirmation! Thank you, my friend, Hugs!
