It’s funny, I had worked on a journal spread to share with you guys for something like a week, just adding a little every day. Well, it ended up in a place that I didn’t like. So last minute I created this spread instead. I edited and uploaded the video, all in just a couple hours, and I love the way it turned out. It’s funny how art does that, isn’t it? You could have these grand plans that go awry, but when you sit down and just let loose, the result is perfect.
My inspiration for this project came from the colors that were already on the page when I started. I had previously (a while ago) used the page to soak up some extra paints, and I just loved the way they looked! So I pulled out the same colors and went to town. Fluid acrylics are especially fun to use as you can use them almost like watercolors. Drench them enough and they will flow together, and I just think that looks magical
