This is my project for Shawn Petite’s 2020 Creative Team! My inspiration is this wonderful time of the season. The cool, crisp, peace and calmness it brings. I always feel with the coolness people reconnect with family as they snuggle down in the comfort of home. I chose organic elements leafs on the forest floor, beehives, antiqued farm pitchers and pumpkins as the inspiration for the piece. Shawn’s stencils play beautifully into the techniques I demonstrate like alcohol inks and gelli printing. I hope you enjoy and can feel the blessings of Fall in this piece while remembering those less fortunate.
