In today’s piece, I used my Gelli prints from last week’s metallic video along with my favorite tissue paper technique, and Oh yes…. my favorite supply… crackle paint.
Believe it or not, this is my version of a river….. that’s the great thing about art and creating is that it doesn’t matter what others think. It all about what makes our soul happy.
Our creative time is just for us and it’s in that space that we find our passion, our peace, the answers…. calm.
As I went to my quiet place in the morning to fill up on good words, to get quiet and listen and to search for some joy…. this quote was where the book fell open to and it was just right, for right now! Love it when that happens
“When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy”, Rumi.
I so needed to feel the river moving through me and to feel that joy…. so what do I do…. I painted it! And yes I found my joy.
