Hello friends, what a fun piece this was to create. I have not been feeling well for some time so time in the studio has been meager & inspiration, sparse. I was looking to create something simpler than my usual. Sometimes, inspiration is not at the ready and that’s ok. Create anyway. I was encouraged in the process of creating this piece. It is small, sweet, and simple. It allowed me to get a little messy without taking on a huge project. As most of my artwork, this one has sentimental meaning to me. “You will always be with me, like a handprint on my heart”. Isn’t that true? No matter what the circumstances, we hold those we lose too early, close to our hearts. We are forever impacted by our experiences with them and the time we had. I hope that this piece encourages you in whatever place you find yourself. For me, looking for the simple pleasures is so needed in times of distress. I used a piece of rice paper and framed it using Shawn’s Windows 2 stencil. I love how it turned out! Thank you so much for watching! I am full of gratitude.

Beautiful background & I love how you used the window stencil.
When you have hand print and heart to work with, I was expecting something else. Still nice tho.
