I just love today’s project, I had an idea about what I wanted, but didn’t really know how to get there.
My layers were a little clunky, but I worked my way through it and just love the end result!
Every little thing on this piece has meaning.
When I was doing my journaling this week, I was writing out my gratitude list and then I just started pouring out lots of feelings.
It’s was a bit stressful last week, well, this whole year has been one wild ride.
So I wrote “Wash over me Lord, fill me with your gratitude and with your hope. Cover the broken and ugly parts with your grace.”
“Wash over me Lord, you say I’m more precious than gold, fill me with that confidence.”
“Wash over me Lord, with your mercy and hold my fear in your hands.”
“Wash over me Lord, and reveal the beauty in today”
And as I wrote, I could envision how those words would look as art… and so I worked my way through the words and the layers.
I share more about it in the video and what everything represents.
