Old photos are important. Even if you do not know them. They were someone once. Someone’s mother or sister, father or brother. In this folio, I create a place to keep all those strangers in a safe and respectful, and beautiful way.

I’ve been teaching and creating for well over 25 years. About 15 years ago I found my art soul mate in mixed media, and it changed my life! I love the story that can be told by combining paint, texture, ink, paper and—really anything that you can imagine.

    Fabulous work Jenni! I love the idea of keeping the old photos in such a beautiful art piece. I especially enjoyed your mix of colors/papers/pattens/and textures.

    The email had a far different photo than what you ar showing here? in both emails that were sent. The One email is with a lovely black woman? Where is her work?
