Hello art friends & Happy New Year!  I took a 2-month break and it’s so good to be sharing my art again.   I wanted the theme to be in line with the new year and as I created it I thought about what I wanted to leave behind and not take with me into 2021.  I also thought about things I want to accomplish this year.  I look forward to growing as an artist and Youtuber.  Change is hard but without change and being open to new possibilities, we can’t grow.  So of course butterflies were perfect for this theme.  


I created this layout in my 8×8 Arteza journal. It has lots of layers beginning with book paper, paint, stencil design, and the final layer was some of Shawn’s wonderful digital collage pak elements.  Shawn makes it so easy to create art with all the different Collage Paks and Stencils she offers.  I hope you enjoy the video and I would love to have you join me over on my channel for more inspiration using Shawn’s products.  Check out my Shawn Petite Playlist!
