I love this page…. the simplicity and yet all the details and meaning.
The grungy texture and yummy texture paste and acrylic add so much moody depth.
As I was doing my planning for the business and I was looking at my calendar, I realized that we are almost at a year from the first Covid lockdown… and I thought to myself… man it feels like the longest winter.
Winter is not my favorite season… at least not in Ohio (we’ve been here 5 years now). It’s cold and gloomy and snowy. And this year has been no exception. January and February are the hardest.
I start to get a little anxious for the season to change, and then coupled with Covid restrictions…. it feels really looong!
When I came across this quote I knew it was perfect for how I was feeling and I’ve never actually read the whole quote… and I loved it!
In the video I share more about how, like the quote says, I’m pushing back against winter because I know there is something better coming.

So beautiful and that statement really hit home. I live in FL so really can’t complain about the winters but this one has been a bit colder and I thank God that we have a common sense Governor that hasn’t shut the state down. My husband has underlying health issues so we have pretty much stayed home as much as possible. I really miss my church family and this time of year I’m usually getting ready to do a Tea for the ladies in my church, unfortunately not this year! 🙁 Any way, I know that no matter what the circumstance “God is good” and in control, but having things to look forward like you Sunday Inspiration helps me greatly to find the bright spots. Thanks for being such a good sharing person, a blessing!
In His love, Terri
You are amazing ! This is just the perfect inspiration I needed today and I can’t wait to get into my studio ! Thank you so much for the relaxed but confident way you use your supplies . What I mean is I always seem to “save” supplies so when I get “better” I can use them so I won’t waste anything . Magazine pictures , buttons for my mixed media and some lace I found at an estate sale , my stash is growing ! Today I’m getting my favorites out and I’m going to play, play play ! Enjoy your day and I can’t wait to see your next creation !
