There are so many layers on this mixed media journal page. It’s just so yummy!
I had my inspiration when I started but I just wanted to experiment and play and see where this went.
And I did just that, and somewhere in the middle I had a mess on my hands. It took me a while to find my way, but I did.
The words on the pages are “The layers beneath” and the layers are what make this soooo amazing, just like the layers of our lives.
Even the not-so-great seasons or choices have added to who we are right now.
Sometimes in our lives we might feel like we’ve got a mess on our hands, I know I did. But that mess gave me wisdom, gave me courage, and the lessons are invaluable.
My inspiration for this piece played out in real-time as I created it, I share all about it in the video.
