Even here, (when the door feels closed), you can still find light along the path. Your unknowns don’t define you, there is still more (joy) ahead of you. ~~Morgan Harper Nichols
I love it when a quote seems to fall in my lap at just the right moment.
It’s been a crazy couple of weeks and I’ve got some things that I’m working on, processing and changes that need to happen. Choices to make… there’s just a lot on my mind.
The best place for me to process everything is in my journal…. In my regular journal I will write out all the things and it helps me get things out of my head and on paper and things seem clearer.
Then I usually will take that to my art journal and get lost in the process, thinking while I’m creating and allowing the pages to settle me.
And that’s what happened this week. I have Morgan H. Nichols app on my phone and each day I get a beautiful quote, poem, or writing that encourages my soul.
This one leaped out at me and it was exactly what I needed to hear.
This page has so much texture, it’s just delicious! And the inks just melted into the texture. I had a few mishaps and spontaneous moments of joy as I created it.
I’ll share more about the inspiration and how it all came together in the video.

Just had to tell you how lovely and inspiring your journal page is. Can’t wait to get my order. Also, we used to live in Broadview Hgts. Now in Virginia.
Hi Sue, thanks so much!! I hope you love what you orders! It seems so many are from Ohio!! Hope you’re enjoying Virginia! Thanks for being here and sharing the journey with me!
This was truly so meditative with the gorgeous contemplative music and the magical creation happening. I love the words that peek through at the end. This quote and the door symbol is perfect for this time of Covid and the quarantines we’ve all been through, and all the unknowns to come. I appreciate being provided with the door graphic through our membership!
Kathy,
Thanks so much so happy you enjoyed it!! So glad you’re here and super happy your in the membership!!
