Translucent layers, soft edges and new stencils 9-19-21

This was so relaxing to create. I wanted to create some loose translucent – transparent layers and it happened just the way I wanted. LOVE it when that happens!

This piece is a perfect reflection of what I’m longing for right now…. softness, peacefulness, with lots of graceful reflections.

Soft edges with lovely layers and a sense of quiet…. yes, please!

I made this with the fun rice paper images I created with the new stencils in the shop.

Supplies used:

  1. 9×12 mixed media paper
  2. Liquitex fluid matte medium
  3. Utrecht gesso
  4. Color shaper silicone brush
  5. Liquitex acrylic ink ( titanium white and burt sienna)
  6. Faber Castel Polychromos pencils
  7. Generals charcoal pencil
  8. Papers made with stencils
  9. Collage papers
  10. blick matte acrylic in teal green

Stencils used:

  1. Childish Font
  2. Inky leaves 2 with masks
  3. Poppies

    I am trying to purchase some of the nice stencils. I see you have a nice promo code.
    Septstencils15. It is not working ? I want to buy these. Could you fix it. Or take it off my purchase? I would hate to lose out.
