Translucent layers, soft edges and new stencils 9-19-21

This was so relaxing to create. I wanted to create some loose translucent – transparent layers and it happened just the way I wanted. LOVE it when that happens!

This piece is a perfect reflection of what I’m longing for right now…. softness, peacefulness, with lots of graceful reflections.

Soft edges with lovely layers and a sense of quiet…. yes, please!

I made this with the fun rice paper images I created with the new stencils in the shop.

Liquitex fluid matte medium
Utrecht gesso
Color shaper silicone brush
Liquitex acrylic ink ( titanium white and burt sienna)
Faber Castel Polychromos pencils
Generals charcoal pencil
