This week I had a chance to get away after a very long 2 years. I left a snow storm to sit with my feet in the sand and to listen to the calming lull of the ocean.
We, typically, annually visit friends in Florida, but haven’t been back in 2 years. It was a needed respite in the midst of a rebuilding year or years.
There’s still so much happening in the world, and in our everyday lives, that’s hard. Taking time to rest, however that looks, is needed. A small-time to find peace, talk, laugh and just be.
This page is all my sights and sounds of our getaway. It is messy and beautiful, meaningful and fun.
I think sometimes we feel the need to make perfect art. But in our journals (especially our journals) it’s a place to document life, to let out all that we live and experience.
It is us living life, day by day.
Our stories need to be woven into what we create, whether it’s a masterpiece or a journal page. Let a part of you flow out onto the surface.
I hope that you are letting it out too. I hope you enjoy the process. I tried some new things and played. Have fun watching!

I wasn’t sure if now was a good time to release a new workshop, with the world feeling super heavy. But sometimes we just need an escape to not think about reality or read the headlines. So please know that I’m sensitive to the times that our world is in. I know that I create when I can’t completely process what is happening around me. So I decided that this workshop might be that for you. Hugs
My newest workshop is now available at early bird pricing!!
