I came across this quote this week and it was just perfect for how I was feeling in my creative time.
“Play is the highest form of research” Albert Einstein
I’ve been feeling this freedom in my creativeness and life. I’ve committed myself as of late to go easy on myself…. well, easier. Allowing for imperfection, allowing for exploration, naps, and time to just be.
This is a hard path sometimes as an entrepreneur and a type-A personality! And play is part of that work. I know that sounds like a contradiction (work to play). But for me, it has to be a conscious effort, otherwise, I’ll work myself silly.
In that play time…. in life and art… there is so much I learn. Like….everything went fine even though I didn’t have everything perfect. Like…. that piece of art turned out better than expected by just letting go.
I’ll share more about it and my process for this journal page in the video. Hope it inspires you! YOU are loved!
