I’m on my journey to finding inspiration, and this series that has come of that. I’m preparing the soil today.
And like we prep the ground for when we want to plant, it takes time, we feed it, we let it be still, we till it and move the dirt around so that there is healthy room for things to grow.
And that’s exactly what I feel like I’ve been doing in this winter season. When it’s hard to get to the table and create, I’m allowing for stillness, for nourishment (podcasts, art classes, music, reading, napping).
And I’m moving things around for growth. Change, while it can be scary, is good. Doing something different, taking a different path on your way to run errands, cleaning and reorganizing, purging of too many things, exercising and letting go of things that no longer serve you.
This list can be long when we think about preparing our own souls for creative growth or life growth.
But it’s needed and worth it. I’m doing my absolute best to listen to myself, my longings, and my intuition.
I’m preparing my own heart for a new season in life, creativity and whatever comes my way. And maybe this will inspire you too.
I hope you enjoy this next piece in this series. Always know that you are loved!
