We’ve had quite the journey the last month. We’ve created 5 pieces that have portrayed the steps I’ve taken to find my way back to inspiration.
It’s a journey that I’ll have to take over and over until I stop creating. It is my creative winter and just like all the seasons, they come for a purpose and whether we like them or not… they still come.
But I’ve been through enough winters to know the steps I need to take to find the sunshine. It takes practice, it takes courage, it requires showing up for no one else except ourselves and most importantly…..it is a divine act.
You bringing something to life is supernatural…. but the only way that will happen is if we show up.
We dance, sing, read, listen, watch and come to the table with a simple scribble…. or tidy our space, or try something new or long forgotten.
We plant the seed and we nurture it and keep coming back and watch inspiration make it’s way through the dark and into the sunlight.
This was my journey but I hope it has inspired yours. I hope you enjoy the last project of this series. YOU are loved!
