We’re having a color explosion today!! Using my inspiration from my Art of Anthropologie book, I worked hard to get this piece to look like one of the walls in their store.

I love to go and just touch all the finishes and textures in their stores.

This wall had paint cans attached to the wall with paint dripping down. So yummy!….And I love how this turned out. It was super easy and pure fun.

I found this quote and knew it was the one. “Color can speak to the soul in a thousand ways.” – Oscar Wilde

And it’s so true–color can remind us of the ocean, or a feeling, or a person. Color can impact us in so many ways.

3. Liquitex gesso (black and white)
4. Golden fluid acrylic (hansa yellow, indian yellow, raw umber, teal, cobalt turquoise, paynes gray, quin magenta
5. Golden high flow – quin magenta
6. Canva paper 136lb for circles
7. Generals charcoal pencil
8. Kohinoor soft pastel pencils,  Derwent soft pastel pencils
9. Soft pastel stick (paul ruben, soho)
