Today I’m continuing my challenge to redo a painting a month.
As artists, we change and grow in different seasons. Our styles change and that’s ok. So I have several paintings that don’t quite feel like me anymore.
So I’m taking you on the journey of remaking these pieces.
The old piece felt to perfect so I wanted to mess it up a bit. I also wanted to make it more interesting. I eliminated some very childlike butterflies and replaced them with some vintage butterflies.
I’ll share my ideas and thoughts as I begin this make over in the video. I hope this inspires you to not be afraid to change something because it no longer represents who you are in this season.
Have fun watching.
