Today we’re continuing this series of finding inspiration and we’re following it.

Today I’ll take these pieces almost home. And when I say almost …. I thought they were done, until I stepped away from them for a bit. So next week I’ll show you some ways to add the last bit of pizzaz to finish them, with no fear involved!
Today, I followed the inspiration, always looking for a spark from what was right in front of me. I could see the flowers, but knew that I wanted them to have some depth, so adding collage paper to them would do the trick. I actually added a lot of collage throughout.

Supplies used:
- 4 – 8×8 wood panels
- 12×12 gel plate
- Brayer
- Collage paper, tissue paper, deli paper, copy paper
- Liquitex gesso black and white
- Liquitex matte medium and Liquitex matte gel
- Black posca pen, Stabilo all pencils, General’s charcoal pencil set
- Generals charcoal pencil (ex. soft), Pacific arc grahite pencil
- Acrylic paint – green gold, olive green, teal, cobalt teal, quin magenta, titan buff, unbleached titanium, florescent magenta, florescent pink, rosy red, neutral gray, raw umber
