Today is #5 of our collage paper challenge. This color palette along with the shape “squares” was so fun!

I did my usually color wash on my old collage papers to match the palette and then added some pizzaz! I just layered and layered squares.

Plus I love how I found a message in the midst of  all the fun.

Don’t be afraid to stand out in the crowd.

Supplies used:

1. Art journal
2. Liquitex matte medium and Liquitex matte gel
3. Liquitex gesso black and white
4. Acrylic paint – cad yellow, prism violet, quin magenta, raw sienna, cad orange, Liquitex naples yellow, golden raw umber
5. Stabilo all pencils, Generals charcoal pencil (ex. soft), Koh-i-noor pastel pencil set, black and white soft pastel stick
6. Collage paper
7. Variety of brush, 1/2″ and 1/4″ flat brush
8. Sharpie fine-tip marker
