Fall is my favorite season! And as soon as it didn’t feel completely ridiculous, I put out my fall decor. 😉

But I needed just a few things to fill in some spaces and was getting ready to make them and thought I would would turn on the camera and take you along for the fun.

These gallery depth wood panels were begging for some fun on the sides too, which I never do, but I love it!! And I did a fun technique…. stencils over stencils.

This week I’ll also be putting all fall stencils on sale at 20% off. They are already marked down for you. And in honor of the Fall season I’m also putting one of my most loved workshops on sale. “Where the crow flies”. So you can grab some fall feels and have fun creating.

Have fun watching the video, and maybe it’ll inspire you to do you own!

Hello there! I’m Shawn Petite

I’ve been teaching and creating for well over 25 years. About 15 years ago I found my art soul mate in mixed media, and it changed my life! I love the story that can be told by combining paint, texture, ink, paper and—really anything that you can imagine.

But what I’m truly passionate about is being your guide, walking with you step by step and helping you become your own hero in your creative journey.

Along my path, I’ve learned that the creating art also creates a healing space. Life can be messy and complicated and painful, but something about a paint brush can help heal your soul. I believe—no, I know—you are worthy of love, and I want to teach you to know that about yourself. Join me on this journey of art and inspiration!
