Today I’m continuing to create with this amazing color palette that I used last week. This is how experimenting works. How trying new things can take you on a journey.
I loved last weeks project but it felt too safe and I know that I wanted to make it more grungy and graphic. And the only way that I know that is through trial and error and playing just like I did in my last project.
This project was also inspired by the daily message that I get from Morgan Harper Nicols. Titled – Small acts of Bravery. Part of her message on that day she says -“There is no need to think less of yourself if boldness doesn’t arrive all at once. Strength often comes in flickers. While bravery is often defined as taking on the unknown with confidence and fearlessness, …. Bravery also lives in soft moments it is found in the small acts, the gentle persistence, the quiet decisions to keep going. bravery, at its heart, can be simply showing up.”-
That’s what creativity is all about! I don’t believe that anyone is fearless when trying something new. If you feel unsure about creating something new or being bold in your creative process, take it one step at a time and just show up and play. It will teach you something every time and build your courage muscles.
I’ll share more about this in the video along with my process. Have fun watching and always know that you are loved!
