Today I’m giving myself a time out….
Our journals are the best place to quiet our hearts and minds and take some time to think about the season we’re in. To find joy, hope or peace.
To process, to celebrate, to find meaning and understanding. And that is exactly what I did today. It had been a hectic couple of weeks and I needed to just play. I turned on my favorite music, shut out the world and created.
It gave me such joy and such a release from everything! It didn’t matter what I did, or what it would look like. Or even if it made sense. It was just me finding some meaning in this season of winter and the busyness all around me.
At the end of my journal time, I said a prayer of gratitude for my time spent creating. It was just what my soul needed.
I hope you get the chance to do that and I hope you enjoy the process. Have fun watching and always know that you are loved!
